Baby Diapers

While I was changing Toby tonight before bed, I got to thinking about all the different kinds of diapers we have used on him, Pampers, Huggies, Parent's Choice and the ones that they used in the NICU, and which ones worked and which didn't for us. Now I know every baby is different, so the diaper that works best for Toby isn't necessarily the one that works for every baby. I found that Huggies leaked, even if he was just in them for a few hours, and they had a bad odor, even when just barely wet. Parent's choice gave him redness on his legs, and didn't hold through a nap.

So we tried Pampers, and LOVED them. We still use them, even the wipes are great! Pampers Cruisers stay on him while he is on the move, and that is A LOT. The Pampers Swaddlers were great because they have the wetness indicator, and they held through newborn naps. Toby doesn't get a rash from them, and there is no bad odor. Now if Pampers could just make a way to keep a baby from wiggling and trying to escape during changing time. Haha!

We will continue to use Pampers until Toby is potty trained, All in all, a great product!

  1. We loved Pampers, too! I second everything you said up there, and we LOVED how soft they are! We used the Pampers Sensitive. They don't make Pampers Sensitive diapers past size 3, I wish they would!

  2. I wanted to use the Sensitive, but they kept coming off when he crawled. So we went to cruisers, and so far, so good :)
