Well, it's been a LONG time since I've had the time to sit down and update everyone. Let's see, we moved on November 1st, 2012 to Pennsylvania, where Jeff is from, and lived with his mom while we worked and spent time with the family out there. It was nice to have Thanksgiving and Christmas with them, and Toby had a great time. We were there for 3 months and then drove across the country, again, and came back to California.
We now live in San Bernardino and my hubby is going to school to become a Respiratory Therapist. I am so proud of him for making this decision. I know that he is having a rough time right now in one of his classes, but I know that he can do it and in the end all of the struggle will be worth it.
I am working on losing weight and just completed a 2 mile walk/jog using the Leslie Sansone Walk at Home 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk DVD. I also joined a gym with my mom and my step-dad. So far I haven't gone as much as I would like to, but at least I am going...right? I am looking for a job that I can do after Jeff gets home from school, to help bring in extra money, but so far I am not having too much luck. Oh well, I guess I just need to look harder and pray that something happens.
Toby is doing wonderfully. We recently celebrated his 2nd birthday. We went to the San Diego Zoo, and while he wasn't totally sure about the whole thing, I know he had fun looking at the animals and spending the day with us and his grandma Cindy. Then on the weekend we had his party with our family and friends. It was wonderful and Toby had a great day playing with his cousins. He is growing so fast and is so smart, learning new things every day. Other than him being a little smaller, I don't think that you'd know he was a 28 week Preemie.
Uh oh, my little monster is awake from his nap now. Time to go play!

Cleaning Spree!!
I don't know about you, but our house gets very messy, very cluttery, very fast. It is partially due to the fact that I have a 16 month old that likes to mess everything up that I clean, and partially because after a day of trying to keep up with Toby, keep up on my school work, and do all the other little day to day things I find on my To-Do list, I am just too tired to do anything once he is in bed.
When I went to bed last night, and it is the same every night, I went through my list of things that I had to do today to get my house picked up. Now, looking at it this morning before I started cleaning, I would have said "forget it, hire me a maid!!" but the reality is that we cannot afford to pay someone else to clean my house, so it is up to me.
I started cleaning after I put Toby down for his morning nap at 9:30. Starting in the kitchen, as I always do, and really wishing I had a dishwasher as I put the first set of clean dishes into the drying rack. Then I moved on to picking up the things in the living room that didn't belong, the hubby's socks, baby clothes, and junk mail to name some. After putting those things away, I moved into our room and put away the clean laundry, then seperated the stuff to be washed. Next was Toby's room, which is still messy, because of my little Tornado, but his laundry is in the wash right now.
I am taking a break to write this while I decide what I am going to have for lunch, and I will resume with cleaning the bathroom and finishing up the kitchen after Toby goes down for his afternoon nap. The living room will be done tonight after Toby is in bed, as the only things that are on the floor are his toys.
I have decided that I need to put a cleaning routine into effect! Starting today once I get the house clean fully, I will not let my house get as bad as it was this last week! I hate clutter and messes drive me crazy, and I am sure that my craziness drives my hubby crazy too, haha. So here goes nothing! Do you have a secret to keeping your house clean? I'll take any suggestions!! :)

Our Puppy
Our little family experienced a great loss this week. Our pretty little Blue Nosed Pittbull passed away on Monday due to Parvo. It was a very sad time for us. She was only going to be 3 years old, and we had had her since she was a puppy. I advise everyone that has pets, especially dogs, PLEASE keep them up on their shots and make sure that if they get sick, take them to the vet asap!! It is very hard losing something so close to you. Lola was our baby puppy! Please please please take care of your beloved pets!!
Toby and his puppy! R.I.P Lola, we love and miss you pretty puppy! :(

Nap Time
My son has started to tell us when he is ready for his naps. Yesterday he took 2 naps and both times he was in his room playing, and started to cry. So I went in there and he is trying to climb into his crib. So I picked him up, laid him in bed, and he was out within 5-10 minutes. Has anyone else had this happen with your children? I think it's great that he did that, lets hope he continues.

Announcement!!
Today my little sister, the one who swore she didn't want another child, found out she is pregnant! From what we can tell she is due in June of 2013! This will bring a 4th grandchild for my parents! My niece and her new sibling will be 8 years apart. Sarah, my sister, is excited, as is the rest of our family! Toby will have a cousin that he can grow up with. I asked my niece if she wanted a brother or a sister, and she said she wants a brother, but when asked why, she said because she wants to be the only girl, and she is very serious about her answer. I cannot wait to be an Auntie again! Whatever this baby turns out to be, I'll love it just like I love the other kids! Congratulations Sarah and Jonah!! We love you!!

Cinnamon Toast Crunch!
As I was going down the baking isle at the grocery store yesterday I came across three different boxes of muffins that looked amazing! They were Cocoa Puffs, Reeses Puffs, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. So I, of course, had to grab a box to try. I baked the Cinnamon Toast Crunch muffins this morning, and oh man, they were amazing!! They tasted just like cinnamon coffee cake. It's taking all that I have to save some for tomorrow's breakfast. :) All you need to add is water, oil and 2 eggs.
So yummy!!!
